Social media intern

This is a vital role that will help improve recruitment efforts for Omega Delta. Meetings will be held monthly in downtown Chicago (not mandatory, ability to work remotely). Schedule is extremely flexible. You will learn highly valuable and practical information in the Advertising/Marketing field. You will be able to leverage industry knowledge of how experts create results driven creative, develop a brand on Social Media, strategy/concepting, photography, and design/edit.

Benefits:
• Semester dues paid for
• $200 stipend upon completion of internship

Job Responsibilities:
• Create, assist and execute social media strategy including creating content, scheduling, posting, and tracking to drive followers and engagement on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram
• Report directly to the Director of Marketing to curate and craft creative and engaging social media content (videos/promos, photos, graphics, copy, memes, live stories, GIFS, etc.)
• Monitor, analyze, and report on social media analytics, leveraging data and insights to take advantage of opportunities to drive traffic, increase following & engagements, and identifying other opportunities for improvement.
• Ability to concept campaigns that align with Omega Delta’s branding and social media goals.
• Perform market analysis and research on the latest trends and competitors

Requirements:
• 3.0 GPA or higher
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Ability to think creatively and exceptional storytelling skills
• Basic knowledge of the Adobe Creative suite (Photoshop, Lightroom, Illustrator, InDesign)
• Understanding of how to optimize content for Social channels
• Pays attention to detail and organized

Plus:
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere or After Effects
• Experience with Social Media content managing platforms such as Hootsuite
• Have your own DSLR camera

 
 
 

FINANCE intern

Treasurer Intern will strive to significantly improve the financial standing for Omega Delta. Meetings will be held monthly in downtown Chicago (not mandatory, ability to work remotely). Schedule is extremely flexible. You will learn a lot about budgeting and credit analysis

Benefits:
• Semester dues paid for
• $200 stipend upon completion of internship

Job Responsibilities:
• Create, and assist with financial budgets and analysis
• Report directly the NEC treasurer
• Perform a banking analysis and research ways on how to optimize current budget.

Requirements:
• 3.0 GPA or higher
• Basic knowledge in accounting, banking, and corporate finance
• Understanding of budgets and financial analysis
• Pays attention to detail and is organized

• Proficiency in word, excel, powerpoint, and Excel
